Backed by Ethereum co-founder Joe Lubin, the company is now acquiring Ether daily and staking it for yield—aiming to grow its per-share ETH reserves faster than any rival. Lubin made it clear: SharpLink is focused on long-term Ether accumulation, not short-term trading games.
This aggressive play is unfolding as ETH’s momentum catches fire again. With prices up over 110% in the last quarter, large firms are rushing to build their on-chain presence before potential ETF approvals pour more fuel on the fire. BitMine Immersion Tech currently leads the pack with over 566,000 ETH, while SharpLink sits second with 360,000+.
But it’s not just a numbers game. According to analysts, the race itself is helping drive demand pressure, pushing ETH further into institutional territory. Observers describe this phase as “Ethereum’s MicroStrategy moment.”
Despite the rapid expansion, SharpLink says it won’t jeopardize its financial footing. The firm is evaluating convertible notes as a capital tool, but insists any use of leverage will remain conservative. As Lubin put it, “We’re building for the long run—and doing it responsibly.”
