Recent reports indicate that North Korea, through its notorious hacker groups, has successfully executed a significant cyber theft involving $42 million worth of Ethereum from Upbit, a prominent cryptocurrency exchange. According to the South Korean National Police Agency, the operation, attributed to state-sponsored entities Lazarus and Andariel, occurred back in November 2019.
