Ethereum Price Prediction – ETH Is Ready For The Next Leg Up, Best Altcoins To Buy Now

Ethereum is ready for its next leg higher, paving the way for another broad-based rally in altcoins. 

Legendary crypto analyst Bluntz says ETH “actually looks pretty good,” but jokes that he’s questioning his sanity at the thought of longing it. 

Using his trusted Elliott Wave counts, Bluntz highlights that ETH is currently in a textbook five-wave impulsive structure, with the asset consolidating in Wave (4) before a potential breakout into Wave (5).

The Ethereum price is close to breaking out of the upper trendline of its bull flag structure, which would mark the end of the 4th downside wave and trigger the 5th bullish impulsive move to the upside. 

As per his Ethereum price prediction, the short-term target for ETH is $3400.

Besides his ETHUSD price chart, Bluntz highlights that Ethereum is also showing considerable strength against Bitcoin. ETHBTC is up by 27% over the past month and appears to have broken out of another descending trendline today. 

Similarly, the Total 2 market capitalization — which is the cumulative market cap of all assets except Bitcoin — has breached a similar descending trendline, indicating that the altcoin market is poised for an explosive rally. 

Other prominent analysts agree with Bluntz’s optimism. Melijn The Trader highlights the formation of a bullish pennant, with a price target of $3,500 plus. With the Ethereum price now trading at $2,600, above the key $2,550 resistance, the breakout is now confirmed. 

Sidelined investors shouldn’t think twice before increasing their Ethereum holdings, considering the risk-reward ratio largely favours the bulls. 

However, leverage traders should be cautious about another retest of the $2,550 support. A break down below it could result in more choppy price action and downside volatility before the eventual bullish continuation. This, however, is the less likely scenario of the two, as of press time. 

As previously mentioned, smart money investors are also buying ETH-based meme coins and AI coins as beta bets on Ethereum. 

Take, for instance, Pepe. The popular meme coin has flipped its descending trendline and appears poised for a bullish continuation.
