Ethereum Price Prediction 2022 by Finder Experts

According to the experts of Finder, Ethereum will be worth US$11,727 by 2030.
However, the Finder panel thinks Ethereum (ETH) will be worth US$1,377 by the end of 2022 before rising to US$5,154 by 2025.
Most of the panelists believe ETH will be worth holding until 2030, still it may note new lows in the short term.

Expert Prediction for Ethereum Future Price

The product and price comparison web portal, Finder, released its expert analysis on the second most-traded cryptocurrency, Ethereum (ETH.) The expert panel of Finder predicted the future price of ETH by using two surveys.

In its weekly survey, they ask a rotating panel of five fintech specialists whether the specialists are bullish, bearish, or neutral on Ethereum for the two weeks ahead. The other larger quarterly survey, that was conducted in late September to early October this year, asks a panel of 55 crypto specialists for their thoughts on how Ethereum may perform over the next decade.

As per the Finder’s panel of fintech specialists, Ethereum is expected to move from its current price of $1,362 to $1,377 by the end of 2022. However, the “current price” is ETH’s closing price on 4 October 2022.

In the continuation, the predictions for ETH considerably lowered since the beginning of this year. As in january 2022, the average prediction of Finder’s panel stated that ETH would be worth $26, 338 by 2030, that fell fractionally in the April report ($23,372) and then in July to $14,412. At present (in October) the average price prediction for 2030 stood up at $11,727.

Moreover, the above chart is the graphic representation of Ethereum price predictions for year-end 2022, 2025 and 2030 in which the “current price” was ETH’s closing price the day before release of the January 22, April 22, July 22 and October 22 reports. Also, the predictions for the end of 2022, 2025 and 2030 were calculated using the truncated mean where all prices are in USD per ETH. It can be seen that the difference between its panel’s October 2022 prediction for ETH in 2030 is around 55% lower than it was in January.

Expert’ Saying

Anton Altement, CEO and co-founder of Osom Finance, is optimistic that ETH will close this year at $2,750.

John Hawkins, Senior Lecturer at the University of Canberra, isn’t so optimistic. Even though he sees ETH closing out 2022 at $1,200, he sees ETH ending 2030 at $100.

Ben Ritchie, Managing Director at Digital Capital Management, further cites the deflationary nature after ETH moved to proof of stake (PoS). He gives a more optimistic price target of $2,500 by the end of 2022 and $20,000 by 2030.

In the following survey, panelists were able to answer as many or as few questions as they like, meaning the number of responses received varies by question, and out of 55, 48 panelists gave their price forecast for ETH.
