On September 3, COINOTAG News reported that the Ethereum Foundation announced in a blog post it will convert 10,000 ETH via a centralized exchange over the coming weeks.
The Foundation indicated that the funds will be used to finance ongoing research, support grant programs and underwrite philanthropic donations, consistent with its stated funding priorities.
To manage execution risk, the Foundation plans to carry out the conversion as multiple smaller transactions rather than a single block sale, a deliberate strategy intended to mitigate market impact and preserve orderly funding for its initiatives.
