Thank wombat, it’s Friday! For some, this means the light at the end of this week’s tunnel, with the weekend hurtling toward us. I work every day, but I do enjoy weekends because I can sleep in and not have to take kids to school. Huzzah!
I am not a “morning person” in any sense of the word. I am a sworn brother of the Night Owls. A burner of the midnight oil. This does not mix well with early school hours! C’est la vie. The children must be educated! They must learn to read and to math and to history!
Oh, and to solve word puzzles, of course! Speaking of which . . . . Let’s do this Wordle!

Today’s Wordle
Another lucky one for me today. Audio was lucky in that it totally eliminated all the vowels in the word audio, leaving me with just ‘E’ and ‘Y’ to choose from. I remembered that yesterday’s Wordle was where and decided I’d try something similar for my second guess. There gave me two E’s and an ‘R’ in yellow.
My first instinct was to guess rebel after this. I guess because I’m a rebel without a cause, that just popped into my head. But I kept thinking and debated pretty seriously between rebel, revel and renew. There were plenty of other options but I was feeling the ‘RE’ words for some reason.
In the end, I went with the word I thought was the most fun of the three and—much to my shock—it was right! Sometimes miracles do happen, after all. Huzzah!
Wordle Bot also got it in three today, which means zero points for the tie game and one point for guessing in three. That’s one point to House Kain. See below for rules on how to play Wordle competitively against me.
