The 10 Best Movies Added To Netflix In March 2023

The first day of the month is the best day for NetflixNFLX
subscribers, because suddenly an influx of new movies hits the streaming platform. And as the month progresses, it only gets better as Netflix adds at least one dozen movies to the digital library each week.

It all sounds great…but it’s also incredibly daunting. Because by the end of March, there are simply too many options to choose from. And as the days progress, you’re struggling to keep up.

Hopefully, I can help. Most websites list out all the new movies on Netflix in March in one fell swoop. With this article, however, my goal is to update the list daily. Each day, I’ll update this article so you can keep running tabs on the latest and greatest options added to the world’s most popular streamer.

First, I’ll list out the ten best new movies added to Netflix so far in March. And below that, I’ll list out every single new movie available. Throughout the month, both lists will update to create a comprehensive overview of the newest and best movies streaming on Netflix.

Easy A

I remember seeing Easy A in theaters back in 2010 when the movie was getting lots of hype. What seemed like just another high school movie was actually very sharp and clever. Emma Stone’s first big solo venture, Easy A centers on a student named Olive (played by Stone) who lies about losing her virginity. Before long, the news spreads and Olive becomes notorious.

Big Daddy

Growing up, Big Daddy was one of those movies always playing in my house. My father and brother and I were big Adam Sandler fans, and this comedy about an immature thirty-something who’s suddenly forced to care for a child was one of our favorites.

Tonight You’re Sleeping With Me

Erotic dramas are all the rage these days—especially on Netflix. After the success of a show like Bridgerton (which in total has spent 126 total days on the Netflix Top 10) and a movie like 365 Days (which 52 days on the charts), it’s no surprise to see projects like Tonight You’re Sleeping With Me popping up. The film follows a journalist who’s forced to choose between a distant husband and an ex-boyfriend who’s reentered her life.

Rango

Over the years, Rango has enjoyed a bit of a cult following. In a world flooded with G-rated cartoons that bore parents to death, this Gore Verbinski western has stood out as a shining light. Rango centers on a shy and sheltered chameleon named Rango (played by Johnny Depp) who suddenly becomes sheriff of a new town.

Love Destiny: The Movie

Netflix is great about providing opportunities for filmmakers from different countries that want to reach a wider audience. And the most enticing Thai project this month is definitely Love Destiny: The Movie, a romantic comedy about a couple that’s challenged during a period of colonial expansion.

R.I.P.D

Back in 2013, R.I.P.D. was absolutely assaulted by critics with a 12% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. But over the years, the action/comedy has enjoyed a devoted fanbase, and even earned a sequel last year (R.I.P.D. 2: Rise of the Damned). The movie follows two policemen who hunt monstrous spirits.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2

In the early 2010s, no movie franchise based on a young adult series was hotter than The Hunger Games. Between 2012 and 2015, four movies starring Jennifer Lawrence told this epic story. In the final installment, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2, Katniss (played by Lawrence) and her friends band together to stop a totalitarian leader.

The Hangover

To be clear: all three Hangover movies will be available on Netflix in the month of March. But before you dip into the series, you have to start at the wildly lucrative beginning (The Hangover pulled in $469 million at the box office). The movie centers on three friends who wake up from a drunken night of partying and realize their friend is missing—on the day of his wedding.

Sleepless in Seattle

Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan starred in three romantic comedies together over the years. While Joe Versus the Volcano and You’ve Got Mail are indisputable classics, Sleepless in Seattle stood out as the most influential to the genre. The movie tells the story of Sam (played by Hanks) who recently lost his wife. Across the country, a reporter named Annie (played by Ryan) hears his story on the radio and falls for him.

Magic Mike XXL

Magic Mike XXL is both exactly what it seems and not at all what it seems. It’s not just a movie about dudes who take their clothes off—it’s a joyous, colorful extravaganza about a group of men who are struggling in life and need a pivot. Together, they help each other find direction. This fantastic flick stars Channing Tatum as Mike, who travels to a stripper convention for one last show.
