Eleven Madison Park Launches Plant-Based Meal Box

New Yorkers no longer have to leave home to dine from one of the world’s most acclaimed restaurants.

In 2021, Eleven Madison Park made waves by announcing that its highly sought after tasting menu would become 100% plant-based, and now, the Michelin-starred, lauded eatery is launching a new product to bring it into the 2020s: Meal Kits.

Eleven Madison Home is part meal kit, part produce box, envisioned to delicious feed New Yorkers and make them consider eating more plant-based foods.

The vegan menu, which allows someone to eat completely plant-based for an entire day, is intentionally prepared with modern life in mind. That is, breakfast, lunch and snacks are ready-to-eat and dinners and desserts require a little, easy preparation or heating — no fancy equipment or skills required. Each box purchased contributes to Eleven Madison’s commitment to addressing food insecurity through its partnership with Rethink Food.

A sample menu, includes whole grain oatmeal with rhubarb compote and roasted pecan butter for breakfast, a lunch of Celery Root Salad Sandwich with matbucha, pea hreens and house-made focaccia, plus tortilla soup with Hominy, black bean and crispy tortillas and chickpea crisps with olive tapenade for a snack. Dinner is Israeli Couscous with roasted carrots and a mushroom kebab with bake-at-home Snickerdoodle cookies for dessert.

“To adjust our habits isn’t easy. It’s especially true when it comes to food. But it can happen little by little, as long as it does not feel like a sacrifice. It has to be as fun and delicious as possible. In this case, a true luxury,” says Eleven Madison Park chef Daniel Humm.

The Weekly Box delivery arrives at diners’ doorsteps with a full day of plant-based meals, plus a curation of pantry favorites from EMP chefs. Each delivery is different, with a weekly-changing menu designed to show just how delicious plant-based food can be. Each box purchase includes a donation to Rethink Food.

Each box will retail for $150 ($285 for two servings). Delivery will start in select areas within Manhattan on Mondays and Tuesdays during a specific time window. Those eager for more vegan meals can also shop from the Eleven Madison Home online store which includes offerings like a vegetable tacos al pastor kit in collaboration with Brooklyn’s Sobre Masa ($75, serves four), a whole roasted curry cauliflower kit ($75), a complete pasta dinner kit and more ala carte pantry staples.
