U.K.’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) announces crypto as a high risk investment product.
The U.K. has tightened its regulation on crypto, with the FCA’s announcement of certain laws on crypto including the risk management warning, 24-hour cooling period, higher risk product etc.
The new laws declared are mandatory for every crypto company from October 1st. Under these laws, crypto is to be arranged in the category of restricted mass market investments which means this category is reserved for products having higher risk.
