Trump Jr. Reveals ‘Defiant Ones’ Amid Crypto, DeFi Project Speculation

Donald Trump Jr dropped a link to a Telegram channel suggesting the Trump family is planning to join the crypto and DeFi industries. The channel has been titled ‘The Defiant Ones’,  associated with recent registrations indicating the new entry into crypto.

This comes after many hints and statements by Donald Jr and Eric Trump in the recent past. Both have suggested that a major undertaking is in the works, which could redefine the financial architecture.

The Defiant Ones: A Step Toward DeFi, Crypto

The creation of the Telegram channel “The Defiant Ones” is a new step towards the possible participation of the Trump family in the DeFi market. Moreover, Donald Trump Jr. mentioned that the channel will be the primary source of information for the crypto project.

Trump Jr. addressed recent speculations in the community noting, “A lot of rumors are swirling about our crypto project.” He urged his followers to stay updated by joining the official Telegram channel the Defiant Ones.

This move aligns with applications filed in July by AMG Software Solutions, a company that has registered terms like “Be DeFiant,” “World Liberty,” and “World Liberty Financial.” The last trademark is linked to providing financial information in the DeFi sector.

Trump Family Dismisses Memecoin Rumors

Also, last week, Donald Jr. and Eric Trump took to social media to debunk the speculations of their DeFi, crypto project being a memecoin. They stated that their project is ‘real’ and not a memecoin. Giving some insights into the same, Eric Trump in a recent interview described the project as “digital real estate.”

Eric Trump also spoke more on the project saying it will disrupt the conventional banking and finance systems. “It’s equitable. It’s collateral anyone can get access to and do so instantly,” he stated. This might mean that the project could entail the development of an interface in which people can use digital property in unconventional ways.

Trump Jr. Advocates for Musk in Government Role

Earlier, Donald Trump Jr. suggested that Elon Musk should take on a federal job. He mentioned this could happen if his father, Donald Trump, wins the upcoming U.S. presidential election.

This idea was floated by Trump Jr. on X, where he proposed that Musk could lead a government efficiency committee aimed at eliminating bureaucratic waste. “I can’t imagine a better person for the task. Trump will make this happen!” he posted, echoing his father’s admiration for Musk.

This suggestion came after an interview between Donald Trump and Elon Musk on X Spaces, where the former president praised Musk for his actions in reducing staff at Twitter following his acquisition of the platform in 2022.

Musk, in turn, expressed interest in contributing to a potential Trump administration by leading efforts to increase government efficiency. “I’d be happy to help out on such a commission,” Musk said during the conversation, signaling a willingness to collaborate with the Trump family in the political arena.
