Recently, Nigeria-based Adewole Adebayo, who was in the race for the country’s 2023 presidential elections, promised to bring digital currency and blockchain related jobs to the young people in the nation. According to the study, Nigeria has ranked as the country’s most interested in cryptocurrency since April this year.
Unemployment is one of the major concerns for Nigerian youth. Still, the country is facing a low percentage of unemployment, which is affecting the lives of educated people in the nation. Adebayo promised to bring more than 2,000 companies that can generate nearly 10 to 30 million jobs to the youth.
“I told them, ‘Look, you know, we have done these things before in many countries, and I have been your adviser, and we have done all of these things. “In my country, I know the objective conditions that we can create for you to come to Nigeria, and we can create jobs.”
The analysts of the country believed that Adebayo’s decision will definitely attract more voters in the 2023 elections. As most of the people in the country show interest in cryptocurrency, it will be easy to gain their trust.
“We discovered that we can create 10 to 30 million jobs using 2,000 companies and bringing the production that they are doing into the country.”
The president of El Salvador, Nayib Bukele, stated that “adopting cryptocurrency, alongside crime reduction and surfing, was responsible for the speedy recovery of the tourism industry. He further added that bitcoin has the capability to benefit 70% of the country’s population who are lacking access to the banking facilities in the nation. It also helps to generate employment services for the youth and will attract investors across the nation.
Recently, the owner of FTX spent nearly $40 million (USD) on the midterm elections in the United States. FTX has been involved in politics; two years ago, in the 2020 elections, SBF spent nearly $5.2 million ((USD) on Joe Biden’s election campaigns in the US.
