Nomura’s crypto arm, Laser Digital Middle East FZE, has been granted a virtual asset service provider (VASP) license by Dubai’s Virtual Asset Regulatory Authority (VARA). The license allows the Dubai-based subsidiary to offer broker-dealer, virtual asset management, and investment services, as well as conduct trading and asset management operations such as over-the-counter (OTC) services, and a “range of digital asset investment products and solutions”.
