Crypto games platform Lucky Block saw its Android app go live in the Google Play Store today (Monday 28 March), enabling consumers around the world to download and test its lotto-style game.
An earlier version of the app had been released to a community of testers a fortnight ago and was made publicly available to downloadable from the Lucky Block website last week.
Lucky Block game approved for distribution in 150 countries
But by now being approved for distribution through the Google Play Store, it is immediately available worldwide to hundreds of millions of smartphone and tablet users.
The app’s approval also means that Google’s testers have checked all the code and the app’s compliance with the laws in the jurisdictions in which it is available.
Out of the 161 jurisdictions served by the Google Play Store globally, the app is only barred in 11 – mostly countries in the Middle East where games of chance for personal monetary gain are prohibited.
The app may not show up on searches immediately because it is still being indexed by Google Play servers and could take up to 48 hours to propagate across the network, but interested parties can click on the link to get to the download page directly:

App release a major milestone achievement for Lucky Block
This is a huge development milestone achievement for Lucky Block and probably its best answer to those who doubted it could meet the ambitious goals it has set itself.
The news brings the platform a step closer to launching its first draw on Binance Smart Chain mainnet. Tickets will cost $5 each paid for with the LBlock token.
Commenting on the app store launch Lucky Block CEO Scott Ryder said: “We are over the moon to be able to show the global games community what we have achieved in such a short space of time. Reviews have come flying into the Google Play Store and it is no exaggeration to say that they are overwhelmingly positive, and we are only still in a beta running on the testnet.”
Little more than an hour after its release on the store, the app has already attracted 279 reviews and a top five-star rating and downloads are estimated to be already running into the thousands say insiders.
To fully test the app users will need to set up a test wallet and register to be sent test tokens. Downloaders can go to the relevant page for Android testing beta instructions on the Lucky Block site.
Work on V2 token optimised for CEXs and day trading is on schedule
Other major upcoming milestones for Lucky Block include its software upgrade dubbed V2, for which smart contract development is said to be proceeding as expected.
V2 will see the original BEP20 LBlock token running on BSC targeted at decentralised exchanges, joined by a centralised exchange-facing token for the ethereum blockchain.
The V1 BEP20 version of the token will keep its tax on sales of 12% and pay token holders a reward from the daily jackpot, while the V2 ERC20 version will not attract any tax but will not be eligible for token rewards.
Other crucial development goals for the project to achieve before the first draw include the rollout of the desktop app, which the project announced recently will include a fiat on-ramp after lobbying by the community. Users will be able to buy BNB using fiat and then convert that into LBlock to purchase the draw tickets.
The Lucky Block team says those who previously downloaded the app from its website will need to re-download from the app store in order to get the latest updates.
iOS ready for app store submission
Lucky Block also shared other news about app development, namely its progress on the release of the iOS app. The iOS version was said to have issues with Metamask connection behaviour.
But these have now been resolved following the 4.3.1 software update rolled out by Metamask over the past few days. According to early community testers of the beta, ticket buying on the iOS app now works smoothly.
Aside from some minor user interface glitches, the project’s developers say the app is now ready to be submitted to the Apple App Store.
LBlock price doubles since weekend
The market has reacted favourably to the announcement of the app release. Over the weekend the price of LBlock touched a near term low of $0.001200 but is currently trading at $0.003580, more than doubling from lows.
At the time of writing LBlock is trending on coinmarketcap’s closely watched Top Gainers pages for 24-hour and 1-hour periods.
LBlock is 123% higher in the past 24 hours according to CMC.
