WhiteBIT, Europe’s largest crypto exchange by traffic volume, announced the first participants for its upcoming International Crypto Trading Cup (ICTC) for 2025. 

The live-streamed event, set for May 9th and 10th, brings eight expert traders to a global stage. The competition aims to showcase real-time decisions, diverse strategies, and transparent trading.

What Makes WhiteBIT’s ICTC Event Unique?

According to the announcement, the ICTC 2025 will feature a live stage setup, allowing audiences to watch experienced traders compete and execute trades in real-time.

WhiteBIT describes the event as a mix of entertainment and education, giving aspiring traders a chance to learn directly from seasoned professionals. Each participant is expected to showcase their trading philosophy and execution under pressure.

Traders From Across the Globe

Seven of the eight traders were invited based on their experience and reputation in the trading world. The eighth participant earned their position by outperforming over 1,000 competitors in a qualifying event from March 27 to April 7.

The announced lineup includes Mauro Caimi of Italy, known for forecasting Bitcoin’s 2021 peak, and brings a data-driven and algorithmic strategy. From the Netherlands, Merlijn The Trader scaled $10,000 into $100,000 and now leads a major trading community.

Ukrainian trader Loza Eugene, EXCAVO, is a former #1 TradingView analyst and swing trading expert. Malik Roth Klindt Jensen (Coinvo) represents the UAE and focuses on short-term setups and high-risk trades.

Kazakhstan’s Muslim Abdullayev (mus_money_) rebounded to become a top copy trader and influencer from early losses. From China, Mao Yijing has an 80% transaction win rate and $2 million in trading profits.

The final confirmed participant, Fokeyev Denys of Ukraine, earned his place by dominating the qualifying round with a 500% return on a WBT trade. Meanwhile, the eighth participant has yet to be named.

How Can the Public Get Involved in WhiteBIT’s ICTC?

WhiteBIT is also inviting the wider trading community to join in. Interested traders must complete KYC on the platform and choose their role, which includes solo trader, squad member, or squad leader.

In addition, interested participants must link their TradingView account to a WhiteBIT sub-account. All trades must be executed using WhiteBIT’s futures platform via TradingView.

WhiteBIT’s Broader Vision

WhiteBIT founder Volodymyr Nosov explained that the idea for ICTC began as a casual challenge between traders. Later, it became a global initiative promoting blockchain adoption through competitive, transparent trading.

“Our mission is mass blockchain adoption,” Nosov said. “With ICTC, we aim to make crypto trading accessible and exciting in a new format.”
