Former US Senator Unites With Crypto Council for Innovation

• A former US senator and member of the House of Representatives has joined Crypto Council for Innovation (CCI). 
• The addition of Gardner was based on his experience to develop a stronger economy and support innovation, highlighted by the CEO Sheila Warren. 
• CCI has support from Gemini, Coinbase, Fidelity Digital Assets, Ribbit Capital, a16z, etc. 

A former senator from Colorado, Cory Gardner, has recently joined hands with the Crypto Council for Innovation (CCI), a group of crypto enthusiasts who aim to enrich the conversations with the regulatory agencies and government regarding the benefits of virtual assets. 

Cory Gardner Joins Along With Others

A recently released statement highlights that Gardner was among the three members to join the leadership team at CCI. He will be the new political affairs, chief strategist. 

The Former US senator and member of the House of Representatives will partner with a World Economic Forum communicators adviser Amanda Russo and a former executive with social impact group TechSoup Annie Dizon. 

Furthermore, an Archetype Venture Partner, Katherine Wu, will be the CCI’s first research fellow. In addition to this, Sean Lee, the former CEO of Algorand Foundation, has become a part of the group to help develop its Asia-Pacific footprint. 

According to the CEO, Sheila Warren, who told a news website, the addition of Gardner was based on his experience in Washington to develop a stronger economy and support innovation, along with his commitment to crypto and Web3. 

Furthermore, she highlighted that the combined leadership and global experience of the new team would bolster CCI’s expertise in a crucial moment within their organization as well as across the crypto industry globally. 

The group also highlighted this announcement via its Twitter account. 

Crypto Council for Innovation (CCI) was founded last year in April and has supporters including Gemini, Coinbase, Fidelity Digital Assets, Ribbit Capital, a16z, etc. 

Last July, the CCI group also conducted an event focused on Bitcoin adoption and had prominent entities as speakers like Elon Musk and Jack Dorsey. 

The crypto industry has made a significant position in the world of finance now, and its adoption is seeing a boost gradually. It is to look forward to how this kind of group further helps in the crypto adoption.
