As per Financial Times, in the early hours, today, Oct 18, The European Commission’s financial services commissioner Mairead McGuinness claimed that the upcoming crypto regulations should go global. McGuinness made such a comment while she visited Washington DC to meet the Republican Representative Patrick McHenry and the Democratic Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, who is a co-sponsor of the U.S. “Crypto bill.” Meanwhile, there are also other crypto bills on general and stablecoins and the main reason for these bills is due to the upcoming midterm elections. These bills could bring back powers in Congress and the Senate.
