Decentralized exchange Uniswap has announced that its web app now supports the Solana network. This integration will allow users to connect their Solana wallets directly to the Uniswap Web App to trade SOL tokens within the app.
Uniswap Adds Solana Support to Its Web App
“Until now, Uniswap Web App users had to leave the app to trade on Solana. Now you can access Ethereum, Solana, Unichain, Base, and more networks all in one place,” Uniswap wrote in a blog post published today.
The platform stated that this step aims to reduce fragmentation in the DeFi ecosystem. “The separate development of the Ethereum and Solana ecosystems makes the DeFi experience more challenging than it needs to be,” the statement said. “This creates both friction for experienced users and a barrier for beginners.”
The Uniswap team announced that the first phase of the Solana integration has been completed, with the next steps being bridging, cross-chain swap, and full integration of the Uniswap Wallet.
Solana, which launched in 2020, has become a prominent DeFi network, attracting attention with its high speeds and low transaction fees. According to DefiLlama data, the total value locked (TVL) on Solana exceeded $10.9 billion as of October 2025.
This integration is considered a significant step in Uniswap’s vision to expand the multi-chain DeFi experience and offer its users a more seamless cross-chain trading environment.
