Singapore based online crypto trading platform Crypto.com releases its report, which measures the adoption of crypto across the world. According to the analysis, in 2021, the number of crypto owners and users has increased by approximately 178%. With this, approximately there are 300 million worldwide crypto users in total.

The report has expected the crypto users number to cross 1 billion this year. Crypto exchanges have regularly kept track of users across various platforms for the sake of information and data. Comparison on that basis can be said to be accurate and trusted because of in house research.
Year 2021 has shown remarkable performance in terms of crypto adoption, and especially it’s the first half. It was when giants like Tesla and Mastercard announced their entry into crypto.

Electric car manufacturer Tesla has announced that the company will accept crypto as payment, although it’s applicable for now only for its merchandise purchase. Visa, a famous payment network, has made a deal with crypto firm Crypto.com to handle its crypto payments.
Apart from this, Latin American country El Salvador has also adopted Bitcoin as legal tender and became the first country to do so. It has planned a whole Bitcoin city for cryptocurrency’s adoption and investment in the country.
Bitcoin has been the center of attraction for common people who heard about it, read about it, was influenced, and became crypto users. It had made a lot of attention when it crossed its all-time highs and made a new one—followed by other cryptocurrencies like Ethereum as well as reflected crypto adoption.
However, Bitcoin recorded more adoption than Ethereum because there is much competition, but the digital gold currency has its legacy to follow.
