Crypto news: Today Binance announced the launch of Arkham (ARKM), the native token of the Arkham Project.
This is the 32nd project launched on Binance’s Launchpad, and the sale of ARKM tokens will follow the platform’s classic subscription format.
Starting on 11 July 2023, and for seven days, the registration of users’ BNB balances will take place in order to allocate tokens, and in the end the average amount of the six days will be counted, using the calculation of the average daily BNB balance.
The calculation mechanism used to record the daily BNB balance has recently been changed, and it is no longer a snapshot at a certain precise time.
In fact, each day the average daily BNB balance is calculated, including BNB held in regular Binance accounts, in trading bot accounts, in secondary accounts, in Binance Crypto Loans Collateral Margins, and in other accounts.
The average daily spot account balance is calculated using the sum of hourly snapshots of the spot account BNB balance on a given day divided by 24 (hours).
Crypto news: the sale of Arkham tokens (ARKM) on Binance
In total, a maximum of 50 million ARKM tokens will be distributed via the launchpad, out of the existing one billion, and each user can receive a maximum of 300,000.
So a maximum of 5% of the total supply will be distributed at this stage.
The price for this Public Sale is $0.05, and the exact price in BNB will be determined before the subscription. In fact, the Token Sale is in the form of a subscription, and the purchase will only be payable in BNB.
The preparation period, which is precisely from 00:00 hours (UTC) on 11-July-2023 to 00:00 hours (UTC) on 17-July-2023, will only serve to determine the maximum amount of BNB that can be committed later during the Token Sale.
This amount will be calculated based on the average daily BNB balances held by users.
Eligible users will then have 24 hours from 06:00 (UTC) on 17 July to 06:00 (UTC) on 18 July to subscribe, which will allow them to purchase new tokens by committing the desired amount of BNB.
Once committed, the BNB tokens will be locked, and will not be usable for other functions, such as transfers, withdrawals or trading, until the final token distribution.
The final distribution will occur as of 07:00 AM (UTC) on 18-July-2023 with direct crediting to the spot wallet.
Arkham Project
Arkham uses artificial intelligence to deanonymize the blockchain so as to try to reveal the people and companies involved in crypto transactions.
ARKM is the utility token native to the Arkham platform, and is also used for governance.
Arkham has two main components, namely an analytics platform and an Intel Exchange.
The analytics platform provides data and analysis through entity pages for individuals, companies, and others, showing current and historical funds and transactions.
It also has token pages that show major holders, major transactions, and exchange flows. Finally, it allows instant alerts to be triggered for transactions that match custom parameters.
In contrast, the Arkham Intel Exchange allows anyone to buy and sell information.
The project has raised more than $10 million during two rounds of equity funding.
Investors include Tim Draper, Bedrock Capital, Wintermute Trading, GSR Markets, and co-founders Palantir and OpenAI.
The total supply of ARKM tokens is 1,000,000, and the circulating supply at the time of listing on Binance will be 150,000,000, or 15.00%.
According to Arkham, the deanonymization of pseudonymous blockchain metadata will lead to unprecedented transparency in the crypto world, and push the industry toward mass adoption.
Arkham’s Intel-to-Earn economy incentivizes large-scale information provisioning, and makes it available to all, providing clarity and transparency.
