According to data from CoinMarketCap sourced by ZyCrypto, the total market cap at the time of this report sits at $3.85 trillion, up by 0.85% from its recently attained ATH.
The surge in total market cap comes as the broader cryptocurrency market recorded a massive increase in trading volume, with leading assets securing remarkable daily and weekly profits.
BTC, ETH, and XRP outperform as crypto market recovery extends into July
Data from CoinMarketCap reveals that the top three most valuable cryptocurrencies by market cap have amassed the most gains over the last 30 days. With a combined market capitalization exceeding $2.5 trillion, Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Ripple (XRP) are leading the crypto market’s recovery.
 
Bitcoin hit a new record high of $123,000 during the week, and although market players have raised concerns over a potential selloff, the asset has gained 8.19% in price value over the last seven days, making it the third-highest gainer at this time.
Ether and XRP are right behind, with the former crossing the $3,000 and sustaining momentum for the first time since February. Meanwhile, XRP successfully reclaimed the 3rd spot after the market cap value crossed the $171 billion mark. XRP has emerged as the highest gainer from the top 5 category, with 7-day gains totaling 26.93%, resulting in a price value of $3.34 at the time of the report.
Up by 17.57% over the past week, Ether sits comfortably above $3,400 at press time.
