Who Is Michelle Bond?
Michelle Bond is running for Congress as the CEO of the Association for Digital Asset Markets (ADAM), a crypto-global network.
Bond, a resident of Suffolk County, is running for Congress in New York’s first congressional district, which encompasses eastern Long Island, in the Republican primary. Republican Lee Zeldin, who presently represents the district, is stepping down to run for governor of New York.
Bond has spent several years in the crypto industry, but unlike many other candidates and parties who have emerged from the industry, such as lifelong bitcoin enthusiast and follower Bruce Fenton, who is running for the Republican nomination for the United States Senate seat in New Hampshire, she is not running for a crypto-centric campaign.
Her Campaign
Meanwhile, Bond, who calls herself an “America First conservative,” is worried about the potential gas costs and the state’s financial progress. Bond characterizes herself as “pro-life, pro-border Trump’s wall…[and] she opines the police should be supported, not defunded,” according to a campaign launch sent to a news agency.
Bond will leave her position as CEO of ADAM assuming she gets elected. Bond was indeed the leader of government relations at Ripple before joining the trade association.
