Crypto ETFs Incoming? Tuttle Capital Files Solana ETF, XRP ETF and More..

Tuttle Capital Management has filed an application with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to list 10 leveraged crypto crypto ETF or exchange-traded funds.

These proposed ETFs include products tracking major cryptocurrencies such as Solana (SOL) and XRP, alongside emerging assets like Cardano (ADA), Chainlink (LINK), Polkadot (DOT), and the memecoins TRUMP, MELANIA, and BONK.

Expanding Crypto ETF Offerings

The filings are significant in the history of leveraged crypto ETFs in the United States. XRP, Solana, and Litecoin (LTC) have been previously included in ETF applications. However, Cardano, Chainlink, and Polkadot leveraged ETF filing is new.

These products are stated in Tuttle’s S-1 registration statement to offer 2x daily exposure to the underlying assets. They are suitable for high-risk high return investors.

Furthermore, Tuttle’s memecoin ETFs like the TRUMP and MELANIA are pushing the frontiers of regulation acceptability.

Solana ETF and XRP ETF to hit the Market Soon?

Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas pointed out that the SEC’s new crypto task force led by Commissioner Hester Peirce will decide the future of these filings.

This is closely behind other applications from large asset managers such as CoinShares and Grayscale. These institutions have also submitted applications for Litecoin (LTC) and XRP spot ETFs. These filings telegraph an effort by the industry to develop a variety of crypto investment products and solutions that may be suitable for both institutional and retail investors.

While the SEC continues to assess the applications of Tuttle Capital and other firms, the filings present the extent to which the rules governing the crypto ETFs can be stretched.
