Expanding its sports partnership, Crypto.com, the popular crypto platform, has announced its collaboration with Formula 1 for the Miami Grand Prix 2022 on February 9.
In a nine-year deal signed by the company, it acquired the official rights of the title partner of the “Formula 1® Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix”. Besides, the crypto platform will also get massive marketing across the Miami International Autodrome.

In the Weekend of May 6-8, 2022, round five of this year’s championship of the Miami race will be commenced.
With this partnership, Miami becomes the eleventh different venue to host a World Championship Formula 1 race in the U.S. The race will be taking place in Miami Gardens, which has a 5.4 km circuit.
Jeremy Walls is the Senior Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer of Hard Rock Stadium. While commenting on the partnership, he said, “Our commitment to innovation is mutual, and we aim to create a similar experience for the Formula 1® Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix 2022 audience.”
In 2021, the popular crypto platform sponsored a Sprint series by signing a five-year deal for $100 million and became the global partner of Formula1.

Similarly, the crypto platform will have ad space in the upcoming Super Bowl scheduled on February 13.
CEO and co-founder at Crypto.com, Kris Marszalek, says their work’s focus is technology and innovation, which very well aligns with the sport of racing.
He further adds that they aim to create exciting experiences somewhere on the margins of Web3 and F1 Racing.
The popular platform claims that they serve a user-base of 10 million worldwide. At the time of writing, the platform has a market capitalization of $13,100,717,171. Crypto.com is the 16th leading exchange, according to the coinmarketcap.

CRO Token Price Increased On The Day Of Announcement
At the time of writing, CRO, Crypto.com’s native token, was swinging at $0.5192. However, it experienced a rise of 7.7% on the day of the announcement of plsatform’s collaboration with Miami Formula 1 Grand Prix 2022.
Last week the token witnessed a rise of 28%. Although, it is still down from it’s all-time high of $0.956 on November 4. As of now, around 25 billion tokens are in circulation out of its total 30 billion tokens.
