Crypto.com, the world’s fastest-growing cryptocurrency exchange platform and UFC, the premier mixed martial arts organization worldwide, have created new Fight Night bonuses for UFC athletes that will be paid in Bitcoin (BTC/USD), Invezz learned from a press release.
Bonuses awarded to top three fighters
The three best fighters appearing on each UFC Pay-Per-View will receive bitcoin bonuses based on votes by fans worldwide. The payouts, calculated according to the effective exchange rate at the time, are $30,000 for first place, $20,000 for second place, and $10,000 for third place.

The new Fan Bonus of the Night will be introduced at UFC 273: VOLKANOVSKI vs. THE KOREAN ZOMBIE, scheduled for this Saturday, April 9, at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Fla.
UFC President Dana White commented:
Crypto.com has been an official UFC partner for less than a year, and I’m telling you they are already one of the best partners we’ve ever had. They’re constantly coming up with new ideas about how we can work together to connect with the fans. This new Fan Bonus of the Night is an awesome way to get fans more engaged in our events while rewarding the fighters for bad-ass performances.
Steven Kalifowitz, Chief Marketing Officer of Crypto.com added:
Central to our partnership with UFC is creating the most unique and compelling ways for fans to connect with the sport and their favorite athletes. We are thrilled for this next step in our partnership with UFC and excited to build even more innovative and engaging experiences as our partnership continues.
Voting starts with Pay-Per-View prelims
Each fan will be able to vote three times per Pay-Per-View. Within each fight, they can vote for two fighters. Voting begins at the start of the Pay-Per-View preliminaries and closes one hour after the event is over.
A series of successful partnerships
A major milestone occurred in July 2021, when UFC named Crypto.com its first-ever global Official Fight Kit Partner. Another one followed last November when UFC and Crypto.com extended the partnership to include a multi-year licensing agreement for an exclusive series of UFC NFTs.
