"CRYPTO ART - Begins" at BookCity Milano

On the occasion of the 11th edition of BookCity Milano and taking a cue from “Crypto Art – Begins” the first Phygital book that recounts the exciting Crypto Art movement through the history and works of 50 Crypto Artists who contributed to the birth of this new world, MEET Digital Culture Center and The NFT Magazine invite all of you to a meeting dedicated to Digital Art, Crypto Art and NFTs.

The initiative – open to all upon registration – will be introduced by Maria Grazia Mattei, MEET Founder and President and moderated by Andrea Concas, Founder and Publisher of The NFT Magazine together with Curator Eleonora Brizi, pioneer of the Crypto Art movement.

Artists and professionals featured within the book will speak.

When does the history of Crypto Art begin? Is it possible to talk about the past to understand what is happening today?

With this event, MEET Digital Culture Center, the first International Center for Digital Art and Culture in Milan, which has always selected the best artists on the national and international scene, continues to delve into the topic of NFTs and for the first time brings attention to the Crypto Art movement through the book “CRYPTO ART – Begins” which represents innovation in Publishing thanks to Web3.

At the meeting, the “Crypto Art System”, theorized by Andrea Concas, will be discussed for the first time, with which it goes beyond technological solutions, identifying its protagonists, along with the dynamics behind this revolution between communities, digital platforms and artists.

Curator Eleonora Brizi, who has experienced alongside artists, in unsuspected times, the great evolution and rise of Crypto Art, through dialogue with artists and their works, brings out the visions, aspirations, complexities, as well as the limits of a world that is all in the making and yet to be discovered.

Various speakers will take turns on stage for a meeting all about discovering Crypto Art and its protagonists. Guests will include some of the artists interviewed in the book such as Giovanni Motta and Mattia Cuttini, and there will be no shortage of industry professionals such as Amelia Tomasicchio CEO of The Cryptonomist, along with Alessandro De Grandi, CEO and Founder The Nemesis.

For the occasion, the book “CRYPTO ART – Begins” published for Rizzoli Illustrati will be available at MEET. Moreover, it will be possible to receive a special free celebratory NFT reserved for attendees!

The book “CRYPTO ART – Begins” will be available in Italy from 15 November 2022, in the US it will be available in 2023 for Rizzoli New York and at www.thenftmag.io using NFTs.
