Cat Meme Coin Rally Soon?

Popcat (POPCAT), the cat-themed meme coin on Solana (SOL), has surged 24.09% in the past 30 days. The altcoin is now more valuable than FLOKI, interestingly, the dog-based meme coin! POPCAT is now close to Bonk (BONK), its Solana partner meme coin.

CoinMarketCap data shows POPCAT is trading at $1.56, up 0.17% in the past 24 hours, 1.34% in the last seven days, and 9519.62% since December 2023. At the time of writing, POPCAT is down 13.06% from its all-time high of $1.81 witnessed nine days ago, with a market cap of $1.53 billion. Its trading volume is $150.33 million, having dropped over 30% in the past 24 hours.

POPCAT has a higher market cap than FLOKI, which is at $1.34 billion. FLOKI is trading at $0.0001403, down 1% over the last 24 hours, with a volume of $239 million. FLOKI rose only 1% in the past seven days and 3.04% in the past month. BONK has a market cap of $1.69 billion and is trading at $0.00002262.

Cat-themed meme coins are attracting more investors due to high returns. Other cat-themed tokens include Cats in a Dogs World (MEW), Mog Coin (MOG), Simon’s Cat (CAT), and Michi (MICHI).

Will POPCAT Reach a New All-Time High?

POPCAT, MEW, and MOG are the top three cat meme coins by market cap. CoinGecko data shows MEW surged 5.1% and CAT rose 15.4%, outperforming POPCAT.

As per the chart above provided by TradingView, the Relative Strength Index (RSI) for POPCAT reads a value of 54.80 which means that the bulls are in control of the altcoin’s price action and the gradient of the line suggests that higher prices might be printed soon.
