Charles Hoskinson, co-founder of Cardano, seems to be excluded from the list of participants at tomorrow’s Crypto Summit at the White House. The main topic of discussion will be the US strategic reserve involving the cryptos Ripple (XRP), Solana (SOL), and Cardano (ADA), as well as BTC and ETH.
Cardano (ADA) in the USA strategic reserve but Charles Hoskinson will not be at the crypto summit
Charles Hoskinson, co-founder of Cardano, is not on the list of participants for the much-anticipated Crypto Summit tomorrow, which will be held at the White House.
Yet, ADA is part of the list of cryptos that the USA President, Donald Trump, has announced he wants to include in the United States strategic reserve.
In fact, Trump reportedly wrote on his social Truth that this reserve should include XRP, SOL, and ADA, and then he also added BTC and ETH.
Even David Sacks, nicknamed the AI and Crypto Czar of the White House, had shared Trump’s announcement, with Hoskinson who had also commented.
“DS: President Trump announced the creation of a strategic reserve of cryptocurrencies composed of Bitcoin and other leading cryptocurrencies. This is consistent with his E.O. 14178 from last week. President Trump is keeping the promise to make the United States the “World Capital of Cryptocurrencies.” More information at the Summit.
CH: Good job, David. We are all rooting for you and believe that you are the right man for this job.”
Cardano (ADA) in the USA strategic reserve: tomorrow’s Crypto Summit
Unlike Hoskinson, on the list of participants at the Crypto Summit tomorrow it seems there will definitely be Brad Garlinghouse, CEO of Ripple.
From what has shared, Eleanor Terrett, journalist at Fox Business, the Crypto Summit meeting is composed of about 20-25 people, and will take place in a roundtable at the White House, including other members of the presidential working group on digital assets, which is why industry invitations will be less numerous.
Terrett then adds the following:
“For those who were not invited to the round table, a larger reception is planned, by invitation only, across the street from the White House.”
All this information could change in the coming hours. What is certain is that at the summit, the CEO of Robinhood, the CEO of Coinbase, and the CEO of Chainlink will be confirmed.
However, the crypto community has requested the inclusion of other key figures in the sector. Among others, there are Cathie Wood of Ark Invest, Vitalik Buterin of Ethereum, Jeremy Allaire of Circle, Paolo Ardoino of Tether and, above all, Hoskinson of Cardano and Anatoly Yakovenko of Solana.
The price of ADA, XRP, and SOL scaled down
In the meantime, the announcement of the USA’s strategic reserve on Sunday gave a boost to the price of some crypto.
At the time of writing, ADA is worth $0.94 and is in a pump of 42% compared to seven days ago. The highest price reached from Sunday to today was $1.13. Nothing to do with its ATH of almost $3 in August 2021, but certainly better than the performance in February 2025, when it fluctuated around $0.8.
As for Ripple, however, XRP is now worth $2.54, and it is in a price pump of +15% compared to a week ago. Sunday’s announcement had sent XRP soaring to $2.95, while now it has adjusted.
Finally, SOL is now worth $150 and is in a pump of only +7% compared to a week ago. Here the price adjusted immediately after the announcement, when SOL had reached $178 on March 3.
