Bybit Unveils New Physical Card with Crypto Payment Features in Brazil

Bybit launches its Physical Card in Brazil, offering crypto payments, cashback, and global spending with no fees or annual charges.

Bybit, the world’s second-largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, has launched its Bybit Physical Card in Brazil. This offering allows Brazilian users to make virtual and physical payments using their cryptocurrencies. It is the latest move to better serve the fast-growing Brazilian market. In addition, this will make it easier to integrate digital currencies into everyday spending.

According to the news release, there are many benefits to the Bybit Physical Card. Eligible purchases give users a 2% cashback, and users can pay with popular cryptocurrencies like USDT, BTC, and ETH. Moreover, the card also supports worldwide spending and works perfectly with Apple Pay and Google Pay. The card has no annual or monthly fees and is free to issue and send. On top of this, eligible balances can earn users up to 8% APR.

Bybit Sees Strong Growth in Virtual Card Users, Introduces Physical Card in Brazil

The number of users of the virtual Bybit Card has tripled since its September introduction, while Bybit Card Sales and Marketing Director Joan Han said that the product has been successful. She said she’s proud to add the physical card to those offerings. Bybit’s key mission is to deliver new solutions to users, and to free up the full potential of users’ digital assets, Han said.

First, Brazilian users need to apply for the Bybit Virtual Card to apply for the Bybit Physical Card. The users will use this virtual card to reach the physical version of the card. This product was introduced by Bybit in Brazil in accordance with its mission of making cryptocurrency more accessible with a simple and easy-to-use financial tool.

Bybit is also expanding in South America, in addition to Brazil. Following the successful launch of the virtual card, the company began pre–registration of the Bybit Physical Card in Argentina in September 2024. The physical Mastercard debit card will be available with early access to users in Argentina through this pre registration. The move is a bid by Bybit to expand its footprint in South America, with a focus on Argentina, the second-largest economy in the region.

The new Bybit Physical Card is welcomed by users in Brazil and Argentina and underscores Bybit’s growing presence in the region.
