Cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase has decided to list the Toshi (TOSHI) altcoin, according to its latest official announcement.
Toshi, a memecoin, was recently added to the listing roadmap by Coinbase.
It was a surprise that this memecoin, which is not yet listed on Binance and most other major cryptocurrency exchanges, was listed on Coinbase. However, the fact that the token is a memecoin operating on the Base network probably had an impact on this. Base is known as a Layer-2 blockchain developed by Coinbase, and Coinbase prioritizes listing Base-based altcoins.
Following the listing news, TOSHI saw a sudden spike in price. The token gained over 25% and is trading at $0.0004427 at the time of writing.
