BNB Chain, a leading blockchain technology ecosystem, has announced that it will sponsor the HackTX 2022 hackathon scheduled to hold at the University of Texas, Austin from October 15 to 16, 2022.
BNB Chain will be one of the sponsors of the annual HackTX 2022 hackathon event at the University of Texas, Austin. The event will commence on October 15, and n on October 16, 2022.
The team says the hackathon will feature an array of activities, including sponsor networking, workshops by Texas Blockchain, and a sunrise watch party, among others.
HackTX is an annual hackathon held at the University of Texas, Austin. The hackathon enables students across various disciplines to come together and develop creative tech solutions.
There will be three main categories at the hackathon: General, Beginner, and Blockchain, which Texas Blockchain will organize. BNB Chain officials will be at the event to help participants with work spaces to enjoy a great hackathon experience.
HackTX is Open to All
The HackTX event organizers have made it clear that students over 18 years of age are welcome to attend, including graduate and undergraduate students from UT and other universities.
The organizers stressed that students at all experience levels would also be accommodated as the event has planned activities for beginners and experts across all majors from UT or other universities.
Interested parties who didn’t fill in the applications before the October 5 deadline will get the opportunity to register at the main check-in period, starting at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 15th.
On October 19–20, 2012, the University of Texas at Austin campus in Austin, Texas, hosted the first HackTX, which about 300 people attended. Utilizing a Microsoft Kinect sensor, first-place winners Lynx Labs created music visualization software and took home five Google Nexus 7 tablets. Five 23″ Samsung monitors were awarded to the second-place team for their multi-factor identification physical entry device.

The BNB Smart Chain (BSC) resumed operations at 06:40 AM (UTC) on October 7, 2022. The BNB chain validators adopted a software update that would prevent the bad actors from withdrawing the stolen funds from the blockchain.
