Binance Futures to Remove COIN-M GMTUSD and DOGSUSD Perpetual Contracts
Following the liquidation process, the contracts in question will be permanently delisted from the platform.
Binance has warned users to manually close their open positions before the specified date. Additionally, opening new positions for these contracts will be disabled starting at 11:30 AM.
The company urged users to be careful during the liquidation process, especially in the last hour.
During this period, the Futures Insurance Fund will not support liquidations, and potential liquidation transactions will be submitted only once via the “Immediate or Cancel Order (IOCO)” method. If the IOCO transaction does not reduce the position to a sufficient margin level, the remaining portion will be closed through the automatic deleveraging (ADL) process.
Binance emphasized that users should actively monitor their positions, especially in the hours leading up to liquidation, due to the risk of high volatility and low liquidity. The platform stated that this step is aimed at maintaining market stability and strengthening risk management.
