Let’s take a detailed look at news and trend of some interesting cryptocurrencies that have been featured this Monday: Cosmos, DeRace and HEX.

Cosmos (ATOM): the crypto trend compared to DeRace and HEX

The celestial crypto is up 1.04% since yesterday, a noteworthy appreciation considering that the token has been almost flat for the past week.

As of today, ATOM’s price is €11.09, a far cry from the €41.70 all time high.

ATOM is not standing at the window and is introducing some new features, among them the V9 Lambda update of Cosmos.

The upgrade is also called Replicated Security, as the name explains it will give the level of security achieved by Cosmos to other Chains as well.

The upgrade will provide an improvement on security for Chains adopting Cosmos and cost savings to users holding ATOM.

On Twitter, the upgrade is being praised by the community as very important in terms of effectiveness and as a carrier of value for the token.

By increasing appeal, Cosmos builds user loyalty and attracts more users with consequent spillovers (hopefully) to the value of the crypto.

From the beginning of the year to date, ATOM has grown nearly 50%.

DeRace (DERC)

The horse racing token launched IDO in July two years ago, and after an exponential increase of 812% it was back on its feet normalizing the value.

The all-time high was reached on 25 November at $8.16 to coincide with the launch of the dedicated NFTs that blew up the game.

DeRace involves breeding NFT horses and growing their value through competitions in order to trade them for a profit or keep them by holding them.

Prizes are paid in tokens, namely DERC.

The game consists of various levels according to difficulty and are called “Horse Tickets.”

The levels in order of difficulty are Olympic, Semidian, Alpha, Beta and Omega.
This game has very smooth graphics and it is recent news that it will also undergo an update soon.

The starting price of an NFT Horse Ticket on Binance is $1,800, but the revenue is substantial with each race.

The DeRace app is also being developed to reach Mass Adoption and as a result, value and new investment will come in.

After a bad week, the value of DERC touched €0.22 appreciating by 5.55%.

As of today there are 91,380,000 DERC in circulation.

Hex (HEX)

HEX is booming and its price rose 17.37% in the last week and touched €0.08.

With 173,411,074,413.065 HEX in circulation to date, the crypto does not seem to be so volatile when compared to other crypto assets.

What is special about HEX is that it is the first Certificate of Deposit (CD) made on a blockchain, in fact the first crypto that leverages the quintessential tool of classical finance.

On HEX’s website it is inferred that a premium is paid on the interest rate depending on the duration of the bond placed independently on the Certificate of Deposit.

The duration can vary over a time frame placed between one business day and a maximum of 5,555 days.
