Around Half A Billion Liquidated From Crypto Market Amid Recovery

The Global crypto market cryptocurrency cap surged by around 3% over the last day to stand at $1.09 trillion. At the same, the traders have liquidated a huge amount of money from the market.

128K traders  liquidated in last 24 hrs

According to Coinglass, a total of $499 million has been liquidated in the last 24 hours by more than 128.7K traders. The majority of the liquidation has come from Ethereum (ETH). Around $255 million has been removed from ETH over the past 24 hours.

Most of the liquidation has come from the FTX crypto platform. Around $168 million has been removed from the platform.

Ethereum prices surged by 2% over the past day. It is trading at an average price of $1,663.5, at the press time. However, ETH prices went up to trade at $1,771 in the morning. Its 24 hour trading volume has dropped by 3% to stand at $26.6 billion.

As per the data, more than $85 million has been liquidated from Bitcoin in the last 24 hours. 3.66 BTC has been sold at the same time.

BTC price up by 3%

Bitcoin price jumped by more than 3% in the last 24 hours. It is trading at an average price of $23,517, at the press time. However, BTC went over to trade at the price level of $24,277 at the begging of the day. Its 24 hour trading volume has surged by over 3% to stand at $40 billion.

One of the biggest gainers of the day is Ethereum Classic also recorded a huge amount of liquidation in the same period of time. Data depicts that more than $45 million has been liquidated in the last 24 hours.

ETC price surged by over 22% over the past day. Ethereum Classic is trading at an average price of $40.8, at the press time. At the beginning of the day, ETC went on to touch the price level of $44.9. Its 24 hour trading volume spiked by 21% to stand at $5.8 billion.
