Innovative fundraising platform Pledge, used by Ariana Grande for Trans Visibility Day, has developed PledgeCrypto, which offers everyone an opportunity to donate crypto to their NPO of choice, Invezz learned from a press release.
Donors can choose from over 130 cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin (BTC/USD), Ethereum (ETH/USD), and Tether. The funds are immediately converted to USD, eliminating the need for non-profits to track market changes or manage crypto wallets.

Grande to match $1.5M in donations
Grande, who launched her Protect and Defend Trans Youth Fund at the end of March, has pledged to match up to $1.5 million in donations.
James Citron, CEO of Pledge said:
Over 300 hundred million people around the world hold cryptocurrency today and want more than ever to support the causes they care about. Now we’ve made it seamless for anyone to support the world’s largest network of 2+ million verified charities and for charities everywhere to seamlessly accept cryptocurrencies and further power their mission.
The only free fiat and crypto donation platform
PledgeCrypto’s platform is the only free, fully-integrated one for fiat and crypto donations in the industry. All funds go to verified non-profits. The platform is fast and easy to implement and allows organizations to accept donations in minutes without any technical background, contract, or crypto wallet.
Users can either embed a donation form and button directly on a website or create a fundraiser page to accept crypto donations for a specific cause or campaign that connects multiple NPOs. Both can be accessed through the non-profit’s Impact Hub.
Supporting carbon offset projects
Pledge is also launching a unique feature, where every crypto transaction will support verified carbon offset projects to make up for the environmental impact of crypto mining and transactions. This will happen via the United Nations Climate Neutral Now Initiative.
Pledge partners
Among Pledge’s non-profit launch partners are Worthy of Love, The Boys and Girls Club of Metro Los Angeles, Streetcode Academy, Big Brothers and Big Sisters LA, Safe Place for Youth, Goodie Nation, CoachArt and Taraji P Henson’s Boris Lawrence Henson Foundation.
About Pledge
Integrated with a network of more than two million verified non-profits, Pledge empowers individuals, charitable organizations, and brands to create innovative campaigns that drive donations towards positive impact.
