Animoca Brands, an investment enterprise and gaming software company, has notified the general public via a statement on its official website, of the successful addition of Eden Games to its subsidiaries. It is understood that the venture fund firm paid an astounding sum of $16 million to Engine Game and Media for the full ownership of the prominent game studio.

Eden Games was created in 1998 as a part of Atari – previously known as Infogrames – , with its headquarters in France. Since its founding, the business has created a slew of iconic video games which are played on PCs and consoles. Their works include V-Rally, Test Drive Unlimited, and the famous Need for Speed: Porsche Unleashed.

With this purchase, Amonica Brands looks to further its commitment to exploring the Metaverse and promoting the application of NFTs. The Sandbox and the Arc8 platform are examples of credible blockchain projects already produced by the software enterprise.

The new parent company proposes to utilize Eden Games’ experience and resources to design new and unique titles to join the REVV motorsport universe. This position was re-emphasized via Twitter this morning by Yat Siu, Chief Executive Officer of Animoca Brands.

The Revv motorsport universe is made up of P2E titles supported by the Polygon Network. These games employ the Revv token, and they include Revv Racing, Formula E: High Voltage, and MotoGP Ignition. Furthermore, Eden Games will be allowed to improve various aspects of already existing products.
