Kaal Dhairya, a Shiba Inu developer, has raised concerns about the absence of Shibarium in the rankings alongside other prominent blockchain networks.
The issue surfaced following an assessment of inscription counts on various blockchain networks, presented on a dashboard by the reputable data analytics firm Dune.
The focal point of the discussion was the successful inscription stress test on the Polygon network, which recorded over 161 million inscriptions.
Also, the dashboard showcased inscription data for other networks. It indicated that BNB Chain recorded 77 million, Avalanche saw 60 million, and Fantom witnessed 26 million.

Expressing disappointment, the Shiba Inu developer pointed out that Shiba Inu’s network, Shibarium, ought to feature in the rankings.
Specifically, Kaal Dhairya argued that while others proudly display their network’s achievements, it would be more fitting if SHIB and Shibarium also grace the dashboard as the ecosystem has similar numbers.
As everyone is parading their chains, thought $SHIB and #SHIBARIUM should also be on this dashboard, in terms of numbers we have hit 130M+ inscriptions in less time then any of the chains while maintaining lowest gas fees and not going down, proud of the SHIBARIUM team for making… https://t.co/uhQRWDX8Qk

Kaal Dhairya went on to highlight crucial reasons why the Shibarium network transactional activities should be included on the analytic dashboard.
According to Dhairya, Shibarium attained a milestone of 130 million faster than other ranked blockchains. Moreover, he claimed the Shiba Inu blockchain hit the landmark in a shorter time while upholding the lowest gas fees.
This contrasts with the observed trend in other networks, where gas fees would have gone over the roof. As a result, Dhairya expressed pride in the Shibarium team’s milestone in the crypto sphere.
Recent data shows that Polygon, BNB Chain, and Avalanche inscriptions constituted 57% of total traffic last week. Additionally, Arbitrum faced disruptions after a surge in volume attributed to increased inscriptions.
1/ Last week, inscriptions on Polygon, BNB Chain, and Avalanche accounted for 57% of all traffic across the three networks. And Arbitrum went offline yesterday after volume spikes due to inscriptions.

Shiba Inu Lead Reacts
Kaal Dhairya’s remarks highlighting the undervalued significance of Shibarium prompted a response from the pseudonymous leader of the Shiba Inu ecosystem, Shytoshi Kusama. Kusama expressed his reaction through a series of emojis, conveying a message akin to “Take a look at this.”

Similarly, another Shiba Inu enthusiast remarked:
“We are breaking all kinds of records. Guinness Book of Worldwide Records might have to have a chapter just for Shiba Inu.”
Inscriptions on Shibarium
Notably, in the sixth edition of Shiba Inu magazine, the Shibarium team highlighted the rise of SRC-20 inscriptions on its platform.
Inscriptions, a form of non-fungible tokens (NFTs), initially gained traction with the introduction of ordinal inscriptions on the Bitcoin network earlier this year.
As highlighted previously, other networks, including Polygon, BNB, and Avalanche, embraced native inscriptions. Shibarium has joined this trend with SRC-20 inscriptions, aiming to dominate the layer-2 scaling solution.
