Earlier this Sunday, Bitcoin, the leading cryptocurrency by market cap, came awfully close to reaching the $120,000 level for the first time. The leading cryptocurrency peaked at $119,444 on the Bitstamp exchange.
After giving up some of its gains, the cryptocurrency is currently changing hands at $118,789.
A gain of just 1% would finally allow the bulls to surge above the much-coveted $120,000 mark.
According to Polymarket bettors, Bitcoin has a 99% chance of remaining in the green on July 13.
There are also rapidly growing odds of the leading cryptocurrency hitting $120,000 before July 14. At press time, the website’s bettors see a 36% chance of such a scenario unfolding. Just hours ago, for comparison, there was a 13% probability of Bitcoin reaching that price level.
There is also a minuscule 2% chance of Bitcoin reaching $125,000 today, according to Polymarket.
A whopping 88% of bettors are convinced that the leading cryptocurrency will eventually be able to hit $120,000 this July. There is also a 25% chance of Bitcoin surging as high as $130,000 during the month.
Some uber-bulls (2%) appear to be convinced that the flagship coin could massively outperform expectations by surging all the way to $150,000 as early as this month.
