Different from general bitcoin or crypto meetups, the Bitcoin Adventure organized in the UK went successful in many terms
One of the most effective ways to teach or bring learning in a society is to make them seek knowledge in groups, such as via events or meet-ups. Given the blockchain and cryptocurrencies are relatively new concepts that need much more knowledge and clarification, it becomes crucial to arrange such events focused on cryptocurrencies like bitcoin and its understanding. There were many events and meetups organized on quite a large scale on international level, those have their indisputable importance and impact.
Yet considering the need of bringing this knowledge and understanding of bitcoin and general cryptocurrencies, the very first ‘Bitcoin Adventure’ was organized in Avon Valley Adventure Park, in the United Kingdom. Focusing on the notion that bitcoin is for everyone, the event made sure that more and more people join the event regardless of their age, gender, status, etc. This was more of a family friendly event with bitcoin and its discussion at the core.
The event did not have sophisticated bitcoin experts or fance some industry leaders, instead there were bitcoin enthusiasts, bitcoiners and hobbyists who participated in the discussion, shared their knowledge, personal experience with the digital assets, etc. This was the very first of its kind event of bitcoin meetup and chosen its venue at a wildlife park, which signifies its title of ‘Bitcoin Adventure’.
Bitcoin Adventure was joined by several Bitcoiners who took the stage and were from the UK itself while there were about 250 participants at the event. The participants needed to get their tickets via paying in bitcoin, which naturally included perks of being in a wildlife park along with joining the bitcoin meetup. The ventures inside the park at the event were also accepting payments in bitcoin where users could pay through Lightning Network.
While explaining about Bitcoin Adventure and its objective, organizer of this event, DB stated that the aim of family friendly bitcoin meetup event was to bring people together to share their ideas and knowledge that would let them learn from each other’s experiences in a friendly way.
Organizer further stated that although the success of the event was pretty sure and they were confident about the same, it was still unknown for them as well. However they have received significant positive feedback from all the people who joined the event and were involved in it. It had been great for them and raised their expectations and hopes high.
