Veteran crypto analyst Fred Krueger has shared fresh insights into the future of digital assets, predicting major shifts in the market over the next year.
In a recent social media post, Krueger reaffirmed his belief in Bitcoin’s long-term trajectory, suggesting it has a “clear roadmap” to reach $1 million.
While he expressed less certainty about Ethereum, Krueger acknowledged the possibility that ETH could match or even outperform Bitcoin over the next 12 months, citing its current market cap—roughly one-fifth that of BTC.
However, it was Solana that drew the strongest endorsement from the analyst. Despite being significantly smaller in valuation, Krueger pointed out that Solana’s active user base appears to be more robust than Ethereum’s, and he sees the network playing a key role in real-world adoption of stablecoins.
“When stablecoins go mainstream, it won’t be on Ethereum,” he said. “It’ll be Solana. People aren’t using MetaMask and bridging L2s to buy coffee. But I can absolutely see them using USDC on Solana.”
Krueger’s comments echo a growing narrative in the crypto space—that utility and user experience may soon matter more than market cap alone.
