Michael Saylor’s Strategy has continued its aggressive Bitcoin accumulation, disclosing a fresh purchase of 6,220 BTC worth approximately $739.8 million.
The acquisition, completed last week, brings the firm’s total holdings to 607,770 BTC, now valued at over $71,000 per coin on average.
This latest buy was largely financed through the sale of 1.6 million MSTR shares, which raised $736.4 million. Strategy’s year-to-date return on its BTC portfolio now stands at 20.8%, reflecting the broader crypto rally that recently pushed Bitcoin to an all-time high of $130,000.
Saylor hinted at the purchase earlier with a post featuring the company’s Bitcoin wallet tracker captioned: “Stay Humble. Stack Sats.” The move follows the company’s previous week’s acquisition of 4,225 BTC — a purchase that helped Strategy cross the 600,000 BTC milestone, making it the largest corporate holder of Bitcoin by far.
With this continued accumulation, Strategy has now climbed into the top 10 U.S. corporate treasuries by size, even surpassing chip giant NVIDIA. Meanwhile, MSTR stock rose over 2% on the news, trading around $432 — though it remains slightly down for the week as Bitcoin cools from its recent peak.
