Prince Of Serbia Shared His Views On Bitcoin Adoption –

  • It is an inevitable phenomenon of adopting Bitcoin by countries.
  • One day it will happen, and everyone will adopt it- Prince of Serbia.

Philip Karageorgevitch, the Prince of Serbia, has shared his views on Bitcoin Adoption and held a brake on the rumors claiming that the country will soon adopt Bitcoin as legal tender.

The Prince gave an interview to a Bitcoin Reserves Podcast in which he commented that adopting bitcoin is unavoidable for all countries.

Considering this statement, many news channels made headlines out of it that the country is ready to accept Bitcoin as its legal tender. Still, the Prince presented his views that adopting bitcoin is unavoidable for all countries and not just Arab countries:

“It is an inevitable phenomenon, and it will happen. I am not sure which country from which place is going to adopt it, but gradually every country will adopt Bitcoin.”

Bitcoin is perfect for Islamic countries

The Prince also explained that Bitcoin is perfect for Islamic countries because it perfectly fits Sharia money.

Sharia is an Islamic law that follows Quran teachings and differentiates between legal and illegal. And the money in the form of Bitcoin is completely halal and excellent for the Islamic economy, Prince said.

“It is likely to happen that a Muslim country that follows Sharia Law will adopt Bitcoin and some people purchase it and make it a selling item; if a prince knows that any Arab or Islamic country will accept Bitcoin, then it will happen.”

Basically, Prince Philip is a prince of both Serbia and Yugoslavia. Serbia was not invented as a country when the monarchy system was terminated. But, in today’s scenario, Yugoslavia does not exist, and Serbia is a parliamentary republic even though a group of the country demands the creation of a parliamentary monarchy, the same as in the United Kingdom.

In March 2022, Philip participated in a chat show where he clarified the difference between Bitcoin and crypto. He added, “Bitcoin is a kind of freedom I want for everyone.”

The Prince also counted the benefits of adopting Bitcoin in Serbia and said: “Many Serbs are living across the world. In my view, the largest emigration is in Canada, after that Chicago.”

There are almost 5 million Serbs who live outside the country, and they send money to the country regularly. All those 5 million people will benefit from the feature of Bitcoin, which offers instant money transfer with no third-party involvement.
