Peter Thiel, the co-founder of Paypal, revealed a list of enemies he believes are coming in the path of Bitcoin and stopping it to increase by 100x. The Billionaire was sharing his thoughts at the Bitcoin 2022 conference in Miami, Florida, on Thursday.
Thiel goes on to say that these people are quite a lot and hold “nameless faceless bureaucrat perspectives,” which is how they disguise themselves.
Building up suspense, Thiel says that he will be exposing the “enemies” against whom they fight for Bitcoin to expand is with.
He also says that bankruptcy has hit the central banks and the regime of fiat money has come to an end.
Warren Buffett, the CEO of Berkshire Hathaway, topped the list of Thiel. Thiel showed a picture of Buffett with his popular quotes regarding Bitcoin: “I don’t own any and I never will,” and ‘rat poison.”
Thiel says that he believes “grandpa of Omaha” is likely the most direct and honest in it.
Thiel says that Buffett is more inclined towards fiat money because of his bias, and money managers who religiously follow him, propagate the notion that it is difficult to invest in Bitcoin.
Jamie Dimon, CEO of JPMorgan Chase, was next on the Bitcoin enemies list. Thiel also put a picture of Dimon along with a quote “I don’t call them cryptocurrencies, I called them crypto tokens because currencies have rules of law behind them, central banks and tax with authorities.”
Larry Fink, the CEO of Blackrock, was the third enemy. Thiel again put a picture of Blackrock CEO with the quote that reads, “I see huge opportunities in a digitized crypto- blockchain-related currency and that’s where I think it’s going.”
In addition, the Paypal founder said that the quote of Fink actually reflects a whole bunch of Bitcoin attackers, he says the term pro-blockchain is an anti-bitcoin, quite typically.
Then, Thiel states environmental, social, and governance (ESG) standards, saying that he believes ESG is “just a hate factory,” calling it a real enemy.
Continuing his attacks, he says that the question ‘What’s the difference between ESG and CCP, the Chinese Communist Party?’ can always be asked. He says that when someone thinks about ESG, they should be thinking of CCP.
The billionaire asks the audience to think of it as a revolutionary youth movement, saying that “we have to just leave this conference and take over the world.”
