Michael Saylor Hints at More Bitcoin Buys as Strategy Surpasses 600K BTC

Michael Saylor recently hinted that he is planning to buy Bitcoin soon by posting the Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy) portfolio tracker. In an effort to maintain its recent purchasing momentum, the company’s holdings had surpassed a key milestone in the last week.

Following the founder’s hint to an impending acquisition, Michael Saylor’s Strategy may see a rise in its Bitcoin holdings in the near future. As an indication that Strategy was about to purchase Bitcoin, Saylor included the Strategy portfolio tracker in an X post.

Fresh Buying Wave Likely

Every time Saylor’s Strategy has announced the acquisition of Bitcoin, it has done so on X before anybody else. The world’s biggest Bitcoin treasury firm is likely said to be making an upcoming acquisition, according to his accompanying description.

There is a Bitcoin holding of 601,550 BTC, with a value of $70.94 billion, as seen in the portfolio tracker. Following a $427 million acquisition, Strategy reached a historic milestone last week when it surpassed 600,000 BTC. As Bitcoin hit new all-time highs, Michael Saylor’s strategy halted its 12-week purchasing run just before the purchase.

The stratospheric rise of the biggest cryptocurrency propelled Strategy’s bitcoin holdings to the ninth position among US corporate treasuries, surpassing Nvidia. Still, according to ex-Ripple developer Matt Hamilton, Strategy’s current worth might double if Michael Saylor put his money into XRP instead of Bitcoin, regardless of the spike.

Over the last week, Bitcoin treasury firms, spearheaded by Michael Saylor’s Strategy, increased their holdings of BTC by $810 million. It was over $300 million more than the previous week, as 21 corporations added the leading cryptocurrency to their balance sheets between July 14 and 19.
