An anonymous hacker transferred 15,000 ETH worth approximately $24.75 million. The hackers then exchanged the stolen ETH for BTC through ThorChain. The FTX hackers have sent a total of 60,000 ETH through four addresses since September 30 and currently hold a total of 125,735 ETH through nine addresses. Additionally, a hacker made 234 ETH, worth approximately $385k, in the past 24 hours through SIM swap attacks on four different Friend Tech users. SlowMist founders have previously warned about Friend Tech’s insufficiently secure registration and verification methods, which are often targeted by malicious attackers.
