Two men who were building up a plan to break into the home of a family are arrested by none other than the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

The Court’s Statment
Damia Williams, the attorney of the US office gave the statement:
The defendants participated in a violent plan to break into a family’s home in the middle of the night and force its residents to provide the code to what the defendants believed was tens of millions of dollars in bitcoin currency.
The court says that the defendants were involved in the making of this plan from May 18 to May 24, 2020.
They decided to break into a house in Irvington, New York.
After reaching there, they would have simply robbed the residents of that particular house and stolen the cryptocurrency available.
It is important to note that when they were planning to execute their plan, the trade value of bitcoin was 10,000 USD per coin.
Since then, bitcoin has gone through many things.
It has soared touching $68,892 in November 2021. Since then, the value has been dropped many times.
The current value of bitcoin is 21,142 USD.
