Emirates has announced a new partnership with Crypto.com to offer cryptocurrency payment options for its global customer base. The integration will allow users to pay for flights and services using Bitcoin and other digital assets.

Emirates Signs MoU to Launch Crypto Payments

Emirates signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Crypto.com on July 9 to integrate crypto payments by next year. The deal includes the implementation of Crypto.com Pay into Emirates’ global payment infrastructure. The rollout is expected to begin in the last quarter of 2025, with a focus on ensuring technical reliability and regulatory compliance.

According to Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, this move reflects the airline’s strategy to modernize its transaction systems. It aims to provide flexibility and meet growing demand for digital currency options. Emirates serves 148 airports in over 80 countries and will join a growing number of companies accepting crypto globally.

The airline and Crypto.com will also collaborate on marketing efforts to raise awareness and encourage adoption. The payment integration is expected to reach millions of customers. This partnership reinforces Emirates’ commitment to digital innovation within the global travel sector.

Crypto.com Collaboration Supports Dubai’s Fintech Strategy
