Binance founder Changpeng Zhao (CZ), who is closely followed by the cryptocurrency industry, continues his posts after the decline last night.
CZ stated that declines are normal and that he always buys cryptocurrencies before declines.
CZ stated that whenever he made a purchase, there was a decline afterwards, and gave the example of his previous Bitcoin (BTC) and BNB purchases.
At this point, CZ recalled that he bought Bitcoin at an average of $600 in 2014, but it fell to $200 within a month and remained in a downtrend for 18 months.
Similarly, CZ emphasized that after purchasing BNB in 2017, it experienced a 20-30% drop and could not recover for several weeks.
CZ said he didn’t know what the outcome of this decline would be, but that declines were normal.
CZ also stated that he added to his ASTER position during yesterday’s decline and urged everyone to be careful about risks.
CZ finally stated that he would not make any further statements regarding ASTER or his investments in order not to influence the market, and said:
“Every time I buy cryptocurrency, I end up in a losing position; it’s a 100% record.
In 2014, I bought BTC at around $600, and it dropped to $200 within a month, which took 18 months. In 2017, I bought BNB, which dropped 20-30% over a few weeks.
This time… still unclear.
I added to my ASTER position yesterday. Therefore, everyone should be aware of their own risks. I will not be writing about this topic anymore so as not to influence your market decisions.
As you may recall, CZ recently announced that he purchased ASTER and did not sell his BNB assets.
