Building on the momentum of last year’s event, which united over 500 cryptocurrency enthusiasts in the Philippines, we’re taking “Bitcoin Pizza Day” to new heights. This year, we’re moving to the spacious and vibrant MetroTent in Ortigas, Manila, promising an even grander celebration. We’re also excited to announce that Tangem, our official event partner, will join us in commemorating this special day.
Celebrating the Legacy
“Bitcoin Pizza Day” commemorates May 22, 2010, when programmer Laszlo Hanyecz famously purchased two pizzas for 10,000 Bitcoins. This historical transaction, just a year after Bitcoin’s inception, has become a symbol of the cryptocurrency’s journey and evolution.
