Crypto prices today have mainly maintained a bullish trend, igniting optimistic sentiments among traders and investors. Bitcoin (BTC) price broke above the $61K mark, whereas Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), and XRP traded in the green territory. Simultaneously, AAVE and Bittensor (TAO) emerged among the day’s top gainers.

Meanwhile, the global crypto market cap surged 1.03% over the past day to $2.15 trillion. However, the total crypto market volume witnessed a 16.57% decline to $57.51 billion, sparking speculations.

Notably, Bitcoin transaction fees spiked from a 0.5 low to 60 BTC on an hourly basis, as spotlighted by CryptoQuant researcher Julio Moreno on X recently. This spike is primarily attributable to the recent surge in BTC staking transactions, capped at 1K Bitcoin. Subsequently, as the staking ended, the transaction fees eased once again.

Whilst, 140,000 ETH options are set to expire with a Put Call Ratio of 0.93, a Maxpain point of $26,25, and a notional value of $370 million. Also, it’s worth noting that the ETH ETFs recorded $874.61K outflows as of August 22, sparking contrasting market sentiments on the asset.
