New Bitcoin statements came from BitMEX former CEO Arthur Hayes, who came to the fore with his analysis of Bitcoin and the cryptocurrency market.
Hayes, who stated that he expected Bitcoin to fall sharply to $ 35,000 in his previous predictions, argued that BTC misled him and that he expected ATH this year.
At this point, the famous CEO, who had a recent interview with Crypto Banter, stated that he does not expect a decline in Bitcoin in the short term.
In his interview, Hayes said that BTC will make a new ATH by the end of 2024 and that he does not expect any significant correction for now.
“I definitely believe Bitcoin will rise for the rest of 2024. I think Bitcoin will reach its all-time high of $70,000 by the end of the year.
The reason why I expected a decline in the short term was that I was expecting a banking crisis like last year.
Because when the banking crisis occurred last March, Bitcoin fell first. I expected the same thing to happen again, but it didn’t.
BTC dropped to $38,000, but not as far as I expected. That’s why I will close the positions I opened.”
Finally, Hayes said that he still thinks that a banking crisis may occur and that the central bank will print money to create large amounts of liquidity in the markets to save the economy and this will increase Bitcoin.
